Kids Church Volunteer Interest Form

Thank you for your interest in serving in our Kids Church at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa

Positions to serve:

LARGE GROUP STORY TELLER:
• Responsible for the teaching the Bible Story, Big Picture Question, & Christ Connection during Worship time in the gym.
• Time Commitment: Two hours during Gathering & possible 1-2 hours prep at home studying the lesson
SMALL GROUP TREASURE SEEKERS:
• Engaging with the kids during small group in areas such as: group discussions, games, Bible review activities, prayer.
• Time Commitment: Two hours during Gathering & possible 1-2 hours prepping at home for games and activities
OFFICE HELP during the week:
• Filling bins with supplies teachers need for class, copies, cutting, organizing supplies, could be some computer work too.
• Time Commitment: 2-4 hours (flexible)

CHAMPION TEAM:
Check-in Set Up/Tear Down in the Courtyard:
• 7:15am-8:00am Set up the 6 kiosk stations along with signage in the courtyard
• 12:30pm-1:00pm (after the gathering) Return kiosks and signage to the storage closet
Check-in Assistance:
• 8:00am-9:15am or 10:30am-11:45am Greet families in the check-in area and escort new families to classes
• 8:00am-9:30am or 10:30am-12:00pm Check-in troubleshooting with printer and iPad issues. This would be for someone who is a bit tech savvy, but we will train you.
Gym Set Up/Tear Down:
• 7:00am-8:15am Set up gym with accordion panels, signage, pull out bleachers, lower screen, set up cables for screen and sound, raise hoops.
• 12:30pm-1:45pm Tear down gym by putting away panels, signage, bleachers, screen, cables
Gym Production:
• 8:15am-9:30am or 10:45am-12:00pm Run production of sound, slide shows, videos. This would be for someone who is a bit computer savvy, but we will train you.
